I have always been in love with art my entire life. My art teachers made it known from a young age that I was gifted. It was not until senior year of high school that I discovered my passion for graphic design while being a yearbook editor. I decided to further my education at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO, where I double majored in graphic design and illustration.
During my time there I was a member of social sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, where I took on the positions of Panhellenic Affairs Vice President, social chairwoman and Greek Week Goddess. I was inducted into the Rho Lambda Honor Society as the top 10% academics in all greek life. During my time in Warrensburg, I worked at PBS KMOS-TV for two years. There I was a student designer and marketing assistant. I designed social media posts, emails, banner stands, holiday posts and member information.
During my 2022 summer I interned at Burns & McDonnell as an Experiential Graphic Design intern in Kansas City, Missouri. There I experienced the corporate full-time experience while making connections and friends along the way. After my graduation in 2023 from UCM, I was offered a full time position as Assistant Graphic Designer at Burns & McDonnell in their External Marketing and Communications department.
